A Park Worth Waiting For

They say some things are worth the wait, and today marks the long-awaited official opening of Curzon Parkette.
When we first donated the land for the park to the city, none of us imagined it would take this long to build. Of course, a global pandemic had its part in delaying the project, but thanks to the unwavering perseverance of our townhouse corporation, board members, TOC residents, our neighbours, Councillor Paul Fletcher's office and the City of Toronto, we’ve created a truly amazing space that we’re all in awe of and so proud of what it’s become to our community. To us this park isn’t just a patch of land—it’s a community hub, a place for connection, relaxation, and enjoyment. Whether you’re grabbing a coffee, watching your kids play, or sharing a meal with family, Curzon Parkette is a place for everyone.

Today's opening ceremony brings the community together over cake, conversation, and new hopes for what this urban oasis can be—a place for neighbours to gather, enjoy, and connect.
